Create a Sale

Under Sales Promotion Processing, Select the Maintain Sale Item function.

  1. CTRL-I to Insert New Record
  2. Add the header information and press CTRL-I to save (insert) it
    Note: the ID is created automatically, the Description is optional as you need it
  3. Select the Items command and click Insert New Item (F5)
  4. Choose an item from the search table and enter the appropriate sale prices
  5. Continue to add items in this manner
  6. The sale will activate on the Start Date and expire on the End Date.
    Note: to reuse this sale, select the header and change the Start/End dates
  7. If you wish to activate the sale immediately, click Actions, then Update Sale Prices
